The Baby Sprout Gardening Kit is an all-in-one gardening kit that contains everything you need to grow herbs from your home. From an ergonomic planter, packaged seeds and soil, and a beginner-friendly gardening manual, Baby Sprout is your one stop shop to the world of gardening.
Our Story
As our first project, Baby Sprout was designed to provide a way for individuals living in space constricted environments to reconnect with nature. In the Avenues Mastery program, a dedicated project workspace, we collaboratively engineered the Baby Sprout's unique chassis and packaging using computer-aided design tools and worked with humanities teachers to develop a very easy-to-follow and minimal gardening guide.
What's inside?
Our Baby Sprout kit contains a laser-cut chassis, seeds of your choice (including chives, basil, mint, oregano, parsley, and chives), soil, and our beginner-friendly Baby Sprout Gardening Guide. Through our all-in-one gardening kit, users will be able to grow their own mini herb gardens in less than 20 days!

Laser cut process of our first kits
In June of 2021 we developed our first Baby Sprout Gardening Kits. Each kits in the intial 25 batch were laser-cut individually and glued together by our team of product engineers and packaged to our kits format.
July 2021
First stall at Union Square Park
After selling out our initial banch we developed a 2.0 version of Baby Sprout that focused on the ceramic chassis. We sold this chassis in a 75-kit run at Union Square Park to passerbys in the summer and online.

We previously sold our Baby Sprout all-in-one gardening kits both through e-commerce and in-person channels at Union Square Market. These funds were reinvested into our community initiatives.
