In New York City, over three million New Yorkers live in food deserts, areas in which stores that sell fresh produce are inaccessible. Our mission is to increase the prevalence of healthy produce options across all boroughs through nutritional education and easy-to-use gardening products.
We sell our Baby Sprout gardening kits online and at farmers markets to generate funds for our programs and partnerships which serve New York City residents with limited access to fresh and healthy food.

Hudson Guild
Partnership
The Hudson Guild is a recreational center providing extracurricular programs for underserved youth and seniors in the Chelsea area. We work with them to build custom self-watering gardening planters for the Hudson Guild Senior Center and donate Baby Sprout EDU kits for their afterschool childrens programs.

Partnership
We collaborate with elementary school classes at Avenues: The World School to develop the curriculum of our Baby Sprout EDU kits. Avenues students interact regularly with our kits in development and provide us with feedback to ensure that they are user-friendly and informative.

The Covenant House is a nonprofit organization that provides safe housing and holistic care to youth ages 12-24 experiencing homelessness and survivors of human trafficking across the US. We donate Baby Sprout EDU gardening kits and build self-watering planters for their NYC facilities.

Planter
The Auto-Watering Planter enables users to grow fresh fruits and vegetables with little-to-no maintenance. A sub-irrigation system located within the planter holds water for up to three months, automatically supplying plants with water.

Baby Sprout EDU is the fourth iteration of our easy-to-use gardening kit, designed in collaboration with elementary students to provide an engaging, hands-on curriculum that addresses nutrition and plant science. EDU is used by our partners to encourage healthy eating habits in NYC youth.
